Unstoppable
We could have been inseparable

But instead you can see
All of my flaws
You can hear me choking
In your talon claws
I won’t have the mercy
Of being set free
From the boiling hatred
Inside your memory
I try to run,
but I know I can’t hide
“Your time is near!”
The eerie wind cried
I see the glimmer
Of your shiny curved axe
I squeeze my eyes shut
And try to relax
After a moment’s time
I don’t feel an impact
So I peek through my lashes
That’s strange, it’s all pitch black..
I try calling for help
But I don’t hear a sound
My voice doesn’t seem to work
And there’s no one around
Falling to the ground
I hear a sudden clammer
I slowly turn to see
That shiny hooked hammer
And then it dawned on me
For I’m not a heavy sleeper
I was wide awake
And the world’s newest reaper.
